How Much Glue Is Used For Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Per Square?
Question: What is a reasonable amount of carbon fiber glue for structural strengthening? It has been from 0.7 kg to 1.1 kg, I don’t know the reason
1.
First of all, the climate is different, the viscosity of the carbon fiber adhesive is different, which leads to a large difference in its wettability, and the amount of glue used is relatively large when the temperature is low.
Secondly, different manufacturers produce different specifications of carbon glue, which will result in different dosages. For example, in order to reduce the unit cost of some carbon adhesives, the addition of the filling amount will make the adhesive system viscosity increase, poor impregnation, and the final dosage will increase.
2.
More in winter and less in summer.
Horse Construction
During the development of Horse Construction carbon glue, low-viscosity bisphenol A modified epoxy resin was used, and by adjusting the polarity of the functional group, the infiltration of the glue was improved to make it more permeable.
Good adaptability and permeability increase the bonding area between composite materials, make the strength utilization rate higher, and ensure the reinforcement effect. Moreover, there is no need to repeatedly apply glue and soak during construction, which can save the owner about 15% of the amount of glue.
Dosage of Horse adhesive
The amount of glue used per square meter of carbon fiber cloth:
Summer: 0.6-0.8kg (of which the primer 0.2-0.3kg);
Winter: 0.8—1.0kg (of which the primer is 0.3-0.4kg)
You can find anything here you are in need of, have a trust trying on these products, you will find the big difference after that.
