In layman's terms, bending damage is delayed damage, which first manifests as cracks and deflection with warning signs. The shear failure is brittle failure without warning, occurs instantaneously, and is more dangerous. Therefore, we need to artificially control the dangerous source of this greater damage.


From the perspective of engineering construction, the thickness of bonded steel or carbon fiber cloth is not suitable for being too thick. For the bonded steel, the reinforcement of the thick steel plate should not exceed 3 and 4 layers in the tension zone and the stress zone respectively, and the total thickness of the thick steel plate should not exceed 10 mm. As everyone knows, the reinforcement of the pasted carbon fiber cloth cannot exceed 2 layers for the preformed board, and it is not suitable to exceed 4 layers for the wet-molded textiles. When more than 4 floors, the use of carbon fiber materials for reinforcement should be considered, and reliable reinforcement reinforcement anchoring measures should be adopted.
