The Construction Process Of Bonding Angle Steel On The Column

The Construction Process Of Bonding Angle Steel On The Column

Commonly used externally bonded steel reinforcement methods to strengthen the compression members mainly include:

Single-story factory building columns, frame columns in multi-story and high-rise buildings, piers, piles, etc. in bridge structures.

Generally, the four corners are wrapped with angle steel, and the plaque is welded horizontally to form an integral steel frame, and then glue is poured between the steel frame and the reinforced concrete column.

First attach the post-clad angle steel construction video, let's look at the picture and talk!

When using externally bonded steel to reinforce rectangular section columns, angle steel should be preferred.

First, polish the four corners of the concrete column to fillet.

Then tighten with clamps to make the angle steel limbs close to the concrete surface to eliminate the deformation caused by the excessive gap.

Horizontally, the angle steel is welded into a whole with a plaque, and it is encrypted at the end of the concrete column.

Pouring structural pouring agent between the angle steel frame and the concrete column.

After the reinforcement is completed, a high-strength cement mortar protective layer should be sprayed on the surface of the section steel (including concrete). The mortar layer should be equipped with steel wire mesh to prevent cracking.

After the construction is over, don't forget to cure it.

During the maintenance period, the reinforced part shall not be affected by any impact or vibration.

The maintenance time, environment, etc. should comply with the regulations of the product instruction manual. If the maintenance is improper, it will most likely lead to abandonment of previous efforts. If the curing is correct, and the phenomenon of poor curing still occurs, it may be a material or construction problem, and the cause should be found from many aspects.
