Disease:

A truck loaded with 37 tons of resin curing agent caught fire from a tire and ignited the cargo. The fire caused severe burns to the main structural parts of the T-beam, the diaphragm, the cover beam and the pier pier of the second span of the left side of the bridge.


Repair and Reinforcement scheme:

1) The carbon fiber grid reinforcement system is used to reinforce the fire damaged area as a whole;


2) Use steel hoop and inorganic grout to reinforce the most severely damaged bridge pier;


3) Three prestressed carbon fiber laminate are arranged at the bottom of each beam, and three T-beams are strengthened by bending;


4) Partially damaged diaphragms are reinforced with the sticky steel plate method.
