What are the requirements when bonded steel plate for strengthen

Bonded steel plate reinforcement reauire concrete strength, the epoxy strength, and consederation of long term use.

Epoxy bonded steel plate system is also known as bonded steel reinforcement, using high performance epoxy adhesive bonding to concrete, the steel plate and concrete to form a unified whole, to enhance the bearing capacity and stiffness by the steel plate's strength.

Bonded steel plate

1.The level of the original component should not be lower than C15, the tensile strength of the concrete surface should not be less than 1.5MPa. The adhesive should be high bonding strength and durable. The thickness of the steel plate should be 25mm.

2. The force of the steel plate should be designed to withstand axial stress only. The length of the steel plate shall not be less than 200times and shall not be less than 600mm; the pressure shall not be less than 150 times and shall not be less than 500mm.

3. Adhesive and the original components should still use special metal expansion bolt connection.

4. The long-term use of reinforced structures and fire protection requirements, should be consistent with the provisions of the relevant national standards.

6. Bonding the steel plate reinforcement, should be removed of the live load on the beam, the construction should meet the specific requirements.
